Our reunion this year is from 26th to 30th October in Pensacola Florida where they will be celebrating The 100th Anniversary of Naval Aviation in Pensacola, home of the finest Aviation Museum in the world, is an excellent opportunity for Shipmates to get together. Hangar Bay 1 is now open, which is a large hanger behind the original museum that brought some of the larger birds inside. The National Air Academy building is up (three stories), with completion scheduled next
year.
Banquet Menu.
A bit of explanation here. On the schedule it says “combo-entrée’. What this means is that you get TWO proteins with your meal; not a choice between the two. However, you can choose to have the combo, all-fish,or all beef. The menu makes the mouth water: Grouper Margarita and Medallions of Beef Tenderloin with a Pinot Noir demiglaze.
Rice Pilaf, Grilled Asparagus and Fresh Bread. Desert is Key Lime Pie. Iced Tea will be served.
What with all that Aviation and good food it sounds like it will be a reunion to top nearly all reunions.
